About
I am a Vietnamese Asian American with diverse experiences and humility.
My name is Eric Thanh Brodsky, and I have a background in social work. I earned my bachelor's in social work in 2024 and my master's in social work in 2025 from Temple University. Working with young adults and adults is my specialty. Everyone within this demographic has brought unique challenges to the table, like depression, anxiety, sexuality, relationships, and more. For these challenges, I help people create and set goals that are meaningful and achievable to them.
My therapeutic approach is an adaptive one. Constant feedback and active listening are key to providing the best services. A person-focused approach backed by research is key, while tailoring each strategy to fit every person's specific needs. Self-determination is another core value. Seeing where someone is at and working with the right stage of change in mind is key to getting off on the right foot.
I look forward to meeting new people with varying life experiences. Everyone has something unique to bring to the table, and it's my job to listen, advise, and activate. You will be heard.

Having experienced profound loss myself, I understand how isolating grief can be, and I'm here to offer you the compassion, connection, and hope that helped me in my own mental health journey.
My name is Natalie and I graduated with my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lock Haven University in 2025, with a certificate in telehealth counseling. I have experience working with clients from ages five to 85, supporting them through grief, loss, life transitions, and mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression. I also have experience with cancer support, helping clients and caregivers navigate a diagnosis, manage the caregiving journey, and cope with loss. I guide clients in building resilience, finding balance, and fostering hope.
My approach is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to each individual's needs. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and strengths-based interventions. I also incorporate art therapy to help clients express emotions and process difficult experiences.
My passion for grief counseling is rooted in my own experiences with loss, deepening my understanding of its impact. Seeking support is a courageous step, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you. You do not have to face this alone—your healing journey can begin today.

As someone who has experienced life’s complexities firsthand, I understand how heavy mental health struggles, trauma, and hardships can feel, and I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, understanding, and practical support as you work toward healing and stability.
My name is Irlande Stavien, and I have been working in mental health for the past 13 years. My path into this field began with a desire to better understand people—their struggles, their resilience, and the many ways life can shape emotional well-being. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Psychiatric Rehabilitation, as well as a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
For 8 years, I worked in one of my state's largest hospitals, and over the last 5 years, I've continued to grow while helping others work toward becoming the person they envision themselves to be. Working with individuals from many different backgrounds has strengthened my understanding of the importance of compassion and genuine human connection.
I focus on creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood. My goal is to help clients feel empowered, supported, and able to move toward healing and personal growth at their own pace. My approach is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and meeting people where they are while helping them build the life they want.

Kenneth Fulton-Resig is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Behavioral Specialist in the state of Pennsylvania with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field. He treats individuals from pre-teens to older adults, working with diverse individuals and backgrounds. Kenneth’s work history includes helping individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community as well as others with trauma, dissociation, anxiety, life transitions, depression, sexuality, alternative lifestyles, sexual dysfunction, and much more.
Kenneth graduated with honors from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's in psychology, where his focus area of study was the transgender community and unique problems faced by the community. He also graduated with honors from Capella University with a master's of science in mental health counseling. He is currently working on his PhD in counseling education and supervision at Capella University.
Kenneth believes therapy has benefits no matter what life transition you are experiencing. He tends to use cognitive behavioral therapy as his base technique; however, he has a large toolbox of techniques to pull from to help individuals.
As a gay male Kenneth has the unique experience to help equip him to work with LGBTQIA+ individuals. He believes that each individual and every situation is unique and that there is not a one size fits all approach to mental health. He provides a holistic approach that evaluates the client as a whole and not just by the symptoms they experience. His goal is to meet you where you are as a client and promote positive change in your life.

As someone who has experienced life-transitions and overwhelm, I understand what it feels like to carry a lot internally while still showing up for life, and I help clients untangle and work through unhelpful patterns so that they can feel more grounded, clear and in control.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) who works with adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. I specialize in helping individuals who feel tired, overwhelmed, and unsure of their next step, but are ready for change. I work with clients who are carrying more that they let others see and help them gain clarity, build healthier patterns, and feel more grounded and in control of their lives.
My approach is warm, supportive, and grounded in evidenced -based practices such as CBT and mindfulness. I help clients better understand the patterns behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools to manage stress, build healthier habits, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying so much on your own. You don't have to have everything figured out to begin. You deserve a space where you feel supported, understood, and not alone. When you're ready, I'm here to walk alongside you in the process of growth and healing.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

Marriage counseling, also known as couples therapy and relationship counseling, helps couples work through their specific relationship issues. Thriveworks marriage counseling in Bensalem, PA is led by licensed professionals — often licensed marriage and family therapists (LMFTs) — who are experts in their field and best-equipped to help couples. Some examples of common focuses within Marriage counseling include:
Marriage counseling works by helping couples identify and better navigate their unique challenges. Following an initial assessment of the couple in terms of strengths and needs, the therapist would then discuss their therapeutic goals and any possible approaches or ways of working together as therapist and couple.Couples attend sessions together, whether they meet in person or by video. In addition to regular marriage counseling sessions, each partner may also be asked to attend a few individual sessions to supplement their progress. This will allow their counselor to get to know each individual better, assess each of their personal needs, and develop the very best treatment plan moving forward.
Marriage counseling at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you and your partner.
On average, couples attend marriage counseling for 12 weeks. “Love banking” is a practical and useful theory developed by world-renowned researcher, Dr. John Gottman. When used in marriage, this exercise is one of many that can help couples establish trust and positive energy in their marriage. Thriveworks counselors are trained to put this exercise, as well as many others, into use in your daily life.
The “love banking” theory can be thought of in a simple analogy. Imagine that your relationship is a bank account. Your bank account can be extremely full and wealthy, or it can be overdrawn. Thriveworks counselors can help you learn to see every interaction with your spouse as either a “deposit” or a “withdrawal.”
Withdrawals are any negative talk, fight, insult, request, or demand made of your partner. Couples who are experiencing difficulties in their marriage can have a great number of withdrawals in one day.
These may sound like simple actions and requests, and some or many may even be innocent and not intended to harm, but they are still withdrawals. Name-calling, swearing, eye-rolling, yelling; these are all even more serious withdrawals.
When our emotional or relational bank account is empty or overdrawn, we feel lonely, angry, resentful, and bitter. None of us wants to bounce checks. This is true for our marriage bank account, as it is true for our real bank accounts. Without making any deposits, even the simplest requests can feel hurtful to your partner because they are not balanced with love and respect.
A marriage counselor at Thriveworks Bensalem in Bucks County can help you and your partner understand the marriage bank account, as well as other effective techniques for improving your relationship. If you are ready to schedule an appointment, give us a call. We’ll set you up with a skilled, caring, experienced counselor or psychologist. You could even have your first appointment within 24 hours, as most new clients do.
We look forward to putting our skills to work and helping you improve your marriage. Call us today or book online to get started.
