About
I strive to create a warm, collaborative space where you feel understood and supported, and where we can work together to turn insight into practical, meaningful change in your daily life.
I am a licensed psychologist (Ph.D.) with 9 years of experience providing therapy to adults and couples. I specialize in treating mood and anxiety disorders, including depression, anxiety, relationship concerns, life transitions, and stress. Many of the clients I work with are seeking a deeper understanding of their thoughts and behavior patterns so they can create meaningful, lasting change. I help them clarify their values and take practical, actionable steps toward becoming who they want to be.
I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have specialized experience in adult individual and couples therapy. I primarily utilize acceptance and commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, while integrating humanistic, values-based approaches.
You deserve a fulfilling life, and I am here to help you move toward it. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or held back by self-doubt, we can work together to build insight, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and create forward momentum. When you are ready, I invite you to schedule a session and begin the process of meaningful change.

I find myself naturally working with my counselees to help them live more virtuous and flourishing lives. This can be done by resolving current and past issues and, most importantly, by improving the future.
I am Dr. Jim Fox, and I have over 30 years of counseling experience. I am a former pastor and a graduate of Denver Seminary, and I recently finished a second doctorate in Christ-centered counseling at Trinity Theological Seminary. I work primarily from a Christian worldview, although I respect non-Christians. I am a practitioner of Solution-Focused Psychology, a Master Addiction Counselor, and have experience with most problems, including couples problems, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, ADHD, and PTSD. I am an EMDR practitioner and am versed in helping those with adultery and porn addiction problems.
My approach is to work toward a better tomorrow, solve problems, and leave the past behind as quickly as possible. I am an ardent user of Positive Psychology and Summa Bonum Psychology. This type of treatment includes ways to make your life happier and help you (and your significant other, for couples) flourish by improving character strengths and values.
I work with both individuals and couples, Christian or non-Christian. You will find that I will push to make your life better. I love to listen, but I believe action helps a person grow in a positive way.

As a therapist and a mom raising three adolescent boys, I know firsthand that healing happens in the everyday moments of life, and I've devoted my career to helping individuals and families find their way through challenges toward connection, resilience, and growth.
Hi, I’m Gwen Koenig, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 30 years of experience in child welfare and behavioral health. I’ve developed a deep understanding of how trauma and adversity shape the way we think, feel, and connect with others. I welcome adolescents, adults, and families into my practice, many of whom are struggling with depression, anxiety, major life changes, or past trauma. My goal is to help you feel understood, build practical tools for managing what feels overwhelming, and rediscover a sense of hope and connection. I welcome clients of all backgrounds, including those who identify as LGBTQ+.
My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in the belief that you already have strengths to build on. I draw on a strengths-based lens, a person-in-environment perspective, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you build coping skills at your own pace. You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental space with honest support.
Reaching out for help takes courage. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for something to change, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I believe in your capacity to heal and grow, and I’d be honored to walk alongside you. When you’re ready, I invite you to schedule an appointment so we can begin this journey together.

As someone who has experienced dysfunctional family life , I understand the struggles that unfold and how painful the experience is. I now have a unique perspective on the deeper meaning of life and the importance of healthy relationships throughout our lifetime. Learning how to build and maintain these relationships takes time and I hope I can empower you to start that journey.
I graduated in 2012 with my master's in social work from Fordham University in NYC. I worked in psychiatric hospitals do intakes and assessments, an substance abuse facility, as well as doing in home mental health counseling for adolescents and adults. Throughout my 14 years of experience, I have enjoyed doing private mental health therapy the most and have specialized in working with couples, marriages and families. My clients have brought many everyday struggles to my practice including infidelity, loss of connection, family conflict, domestic abuse, addictions within the family and blended family struggles.
I have been trained on the Gottman and Emotional Focused Therapeutic techniques for my couples. Both of these techniques have a lot of eye-opening information that has brought a lot of help to couples and families struggling in their relationships. I have also been trained on ACT and CBT approaches for my individual clients seeking emotional stability.
I look forward to meeting each one of you, hearing your story and walking with you in your journey to emotional stability and healing your relationships.
You deserve dedicated time with a mental health professional — it can be life-changing.

Individual therapy, also known as Individual therapy, allows people to engage in private sessions with a skilled therapist, counselor, or psychologist. The core objective of individual therapy is to establish a secure and confidential setting where you can openly discuss whatever emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges you face. Through these one-on-one sessions, the client and therapist work together to delve into, comprehend, and ultimately find solutions for the issues at hand in their life.
Individual therapy unfolds in a structured process, commencing with an initial assessment in which the therapist gathers essential information about your history, concerns, and objectives. Together, you and your therapist collaboratively establish specific, attainable goals for your sessions, which can encompass symptom alleviation, personal development, or finding solutions to particular challenges.
