Before becoming a counselor, Monica was a high school science teacher for over a decade, giving her a unique understanding of human behavior and evidence-based practices. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and collaboration.
Monica earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palm Beach Atlantic University. She utilizes emotionally-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalytic therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques. Additionally, she offers Christian counseling upon request.
