Breakup therapy from our Thriveworks Knoxville therapists helps people process the loss that comes with a breakup. In addition, it can help them to better understand what was wrong as well as what was right in their relationship so that they’re able to move forward.
Breakup therapy works by offering a safe space for people to explore the pain and changes that can accompany a breakup. It also works by equipping individuals with healthy coping mechanisms such as self-reflection and relaxation techniques to replace harmful (or maladaptive) coping mechanisms.
Breakup therapy from the therapists at Thriveworks in Knoxville, TN is conducted both in person and online by video. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
The amount of breakup therapy sessions will vary from one person to the next, depending on their specific needs. However, it typically lasts for several weeks or months.
