About
As one who has experienced personal challenges with anxiety and ADHD, I have an authentic understanding of how we are impacted by our mental health and how building life skills can empower us to make changes in our lives.
I’m a licensed therapist with 8 years of experience supporting teenagers, young adults, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and substance use. I’m passionate about helping people develop healthy, sustainable coping skills so they can feel more grounded and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. My approach is compassionate, strengths-based, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I integrate motivational interviewing and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to support meaningful, lasting change, while maintaining a humanistic lens that centers each person’s unique experiences and values.
I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and I work collaboratively to help them build on their strengths and move toward what matters most to them. I work with clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—whether that shows up as difficulty focusing, managing emotions, or breaking patterns that no longer serve them.
Together, we focus on increasing self-awareness, building practical coping strategies, and creating realistic, values-driven steps toward change. My goal is to help clients feel more confident, empowered, and connected in their lives.

Panic attack disorder therapy is a specialized therapeutic approach designed to help individuals suffering from recurrent and debilitating panic attacks. During therapy sessions, individuals work closely with trained Thriveworks Providence therapists to identify and understand the triggers and thought patterns that contribute to their panic attacks. Through panic attack disorder therapy, individuals learn to manage their anxiety, develop coping strategies, and regain control over their lives, ultimately leading to a reduction in the severity of panic attacks.
Panic attack disorder therapy often utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques like exposure therapy and relaxation exercises to help individuals manage and mitigate panic attacks. These methods involve desensitizing triggers, reducing physical and emotional symptoms, and challenging irrational thought patterns to empower individuals to recognize, control, and reduce the frequency and intensity of panic attacks.
Panic attack disorder therapy at Thriveworks is conducted both in person and through Online therapy. We encourage you to choose the option that works best for you.
Panic attack disorder therapy may last for a variable amount of time, depending on the individual’s unique needs.
Panic attacks are sudden, intense, and feel horrible. They can be defined as abrupt sensations of intense fear or discomfort that reach a peak within minutes, although they can last up to 30 minutes. Since many of the panic attacks’ physical symptoms resemble those of severe physical conditions (such as a heart attack), many people remain convinced they suffer a life-threatening condition. However, panic attack counseling or panic disorder therapy can help.
If you are struggling with panic attacks and think you could benefit from professional help, don’t hesitate to reach out to Thriveworks Providence. We offer evening and weekend sessions, and we accept most major insurances. Contact us today to get started.
During an attack, some of the following physical symptoms can occur: shortness of breath, nausea, chest pain, heart palpitations or heart pounding, dizziness, etc. There are also significant psychological symptoms such as derealization, fear of losing control, “going mad” or even dying. If panic attacks become recurrent, it might indicate a panic disorder.
If you are not sure if you have experienced panic disorder, ask yourself the following questions:
Panic attacks can lead to great emotional stress, problems with relationships both personal and professional and problems with confidence, depression, and even employment.
