I use coping skills such as deep breathing and exercise (especially walking) for recurrent anxious feelings. I try to inhale for about 5 seconds and exhale for 7 seconds- doing this technique helps my body shift toward a calmer state. I try to exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes- during exercise, I talk positively to myself (e.g. I can do it. I'm strong). Using motivation helps me achieve my goals and reduces my anxious feelings.
