My go-to approach for helping clients in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is to intently gather comprehensive data about one’s personal thoughts & experiences to ultimately reveal the individual’s worldview and core beliefs about one’s self. I find the best benefit in training clients to utilize the technique of “metacognition” because it facilitates insight and self-awareness, which ultimately unleashes the power to shift & change behavior long-term.

I teach the techniques of metacognition, cognitive reframing, and diaphragmatic breathing. These are core skills that result in shifting maladaptive thinking and promote relaxation, which ultimately results in significant behavioral change.
