Because divorce involves changing legal status, changing lifestyles, making housing adjustments, and often custodial rights to children, divorce counselors at Thriveworks focus on helping partners to prepare with the stress, sadness, and anger that can often precede the divorce process.

Do I need a lawyer to get divorced?

At Thriveworks, we can only provide mental health services and support for couples before, during, and after their separation. We cannot and do not provide clients legal guidance or representation in any court of law.
