I worked with adults, adolescents, and children experiencing a wide range of DSM diagnoses alongside a psychiatrist, nurses, social workers, and other counselors. I have also worked as a substance abuse counselor and began work for a substance abuse treatment center in October 2017, providing intensive outpatient group counseling and individual counseling. I have resided in Greensboro, NC for the majority of my life and enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 year old daughter, Nova.

Sarah Olson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 14 years of experience helping infants, toddlers, children, teens, and adults who are faced with anxiety, depression, anger, poor coping skills, and family conflict issues. 

Sarah received her Master's degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and is classically trained at the Master’s level in cognitive behavior therapy and solutions-focused therapy. She helps clients to explore behavior patterns that may have been caused by past events. Sarah believes that being honest about how you feel is the most effective way to move forward in getting to where you want to go in life.

Ida Ham is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Ida is passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and couples address their unique challenges and create life balances with improved coping skills for a fulfilling life. She specializes in depression, anxiety, addiction, life transitions, problem solving, relationship issues, and coping skills.

Ida completed her Master of Arts (MA) in Agency Counseling at North Carolina Central University. She has a family and lived experiences balancing the unique developments within family life. Ida has continued her skill building and has completed the nationally approved Stephen Ministry training for faith-based counseling and support. Ida’s training and work experiences have allowed her the opportunity to utilize varied therapies such as person-centered, cognitive, behavioral, acceptance, commitment, motivational based, strengths based, decision making, problem solving, and solution focused.

Liana K. Nelson-Peterson is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician with 20 years of experience in mental health. Liana started her career with the intention of dedicating herself to inspire more people of color to feel free and empowered to seek therapy without fearing rejection within their community. Liana initially started her career as a Family Support Case manager with the Missouri Division of Social Services. Liana continues to work with individuals—young and seasoned—families, and couples to help build connections by teaching and educating the dynamics of grief, complicated grief, levels of intimacy and attachment.

Liana carries a Masters of Art in Counseling at Webster University and has obtained her Certification in Sex Therapy and Sex Addictions from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Liana is not afraid to explore the fears of conversation that people tend to avoid. Liana is a realist who is personable and relatable as she works on meeting each client where they are.

Liana couples the treatment of grief, intimacy, and attachment with the misconceptions about them. Grief is not always a physical loss! Intimacy is often thought of as the physical act of sex.
